TOEFL MYTHS — DEBUNKED

Before we begin, some context about me. Hi! I am Chirag I am 16 and this is my first blog. I got 109 on my TOEFL exam that I gave on June 5th 2021 and started preparing for that in early May 2021.

Before we begin It would tremendously help out this blog post if you would be oh so generous to share this blog to the people who are giving their TOEFL anytime soon. Thank Youuu. Let’s Begin.

So, firstly let me break down some myths about preparing for TOEFL:-

1. You need a lot of prep material to get a good score on TOEFL.

This is completely a myth. I prepared for TOEFL with just the resources that were available online on ets official website and trust me when I say you don’t need a single book to prepare for the TOEFL and ace it.

2. You need to go to a coaching institution to get a good score in TOEFL.

This is somewhat true but turned out to be entirely false for me. I know some people who went to a coaching institute for 2 Months and still weren’t able to score above 90. However, they showed about a 10 point average improvement. If you ask me if you know that you can study on your own for a fixed amount of time every day consistently then go for it. Mark my words you won’t need to spend a single dime on coaching institute. However, if you can’t then going with the more conventional approach might be more helpful

Good Luck for your TOEFL.

Remember, YOU CAN YOU WILL
